The purpose of these forums is to provide a platform where members of the Catholic Church can share their experiences, learn from their neighbors through meaningful and honest dialogue and become agents of change by proposing solutions in their families, parishes and communities.
This forum, to be held on Feb. 10, promotes a deeper understanding of the experiences of migrants and refugees, racism and the Church. Previous forums have focused on African American, Latino, and Asian experience.
At each forum, participants briefly hear remarks from speakers then have an opportunity to share their story in a small group. The insights gathered in all of the forums will be summarized, shared on the diocese’s website, and presented to the diocese’s leadership and priests.
