Information

The Diocese is offering a Passport Day on Saturday, Jan. 11, to help people, particularly minors, to obtain a U.S. passport or to renew it. The Office for Life, Peace and Justice is working in partnership with the U.S. Passport Agency and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish to bring this service to the community. It is open to anyone, not just Catholics.

Bilingual personnel from the agency will review and accept applications for passports or renewals and accept payments. They will NOT help individuals fill out the forms. Applicants need to complete the application form before arriving and bring all of the required documents. They also should be prepared to pay the fees. Fees can ONLY be paid by personal check or money order made out to “U.S. Department of State.” No cash or debit and credit cards will be accepted.

Applicants are encouraged to register with the parish, Monday through Friday, at (619) 422-3977, to participate in the Passport Day.

Through a donation, the diocese will be able to pay for the cost of 50 passport cards for minors. Those families that arrive with all of the minor’s form completed and the required documents will be entered to compete in a raffle to win one of these subsidies.

Department of State”.
