Parishes have a big job in communicating with their communities, especially in these challenging times.
The goal of this page is to make that work a little easier.
The page is presented by the staff of the diocese’s Communication Office. We will be offering resources for parishes:
- To connect to the diocese’s ministries, priority projects and news;
- To Inform their community about new diocesan initiatives;
- To share diocese’s social media content and its messages.
This page is meant to help parish staffs. We welcome your questions, comments and suggestions. See our contact information on this page.
This page will be updated at least twice a month, around the first and the 15th.
Have questions about communications? Our Communication staff will have our next Zoom meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m., to answer communication-related questions from parish staffs. Small-group sessions related to our synod begin at the parish level in March. This meeting will touch on how your parish can share information about the synod with your community. And our staff will answer your communication-related questions. Our staff that will participate: The diocese’s media director, social media manager, editor and advertising coordinator of The Southern Cross, and web developer. Please join us and tell our colleagues at other parishes about this opportunity.
